Terms of Service

As part of practicing ethically, all counselling/therapy sessions are in line with the BACP/UKCP ethical framework. This is a mutually agreed contract between Client (s)It states our responsibility for the time that you are engaged in counselling/therapy with Equamind.

The overall aim of your counselling/therapy session has been discussed and agreed in our initial meeting/assessment.
However other issues may emerge as our work together progresses. I will provide confidential, non-judgmental, safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

I will assist your learning and understanding and growth. I will not tell you what to do but will help you to discover your solutions and your way forward.
Our work together is confidential and remains in the counselling room. Please see confidentiality agreement.

Our sessions will last 60 minutes and will normally take place at an agreed time. If you need to cancel one of our sessions, you will need to give 48 hours notice. If you do not give 48 hours notice you will still be charged for the session.
I will endeavour to give you 48 hours notice if I need to cancel the session.

I have understood and agree with the terms and conditions in the contract.
